Trauma-Informed 1-on-1 Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is one of the most misunderstood, and also one of the most powerful tools available for personal transformation. Forget what you’ve seen in movies or on stage. Hypnotherapy is a safe, evidence-based practice that uses guided relaxation and focused awareness to help you access the subconscious mind, where many of our deepest patterns, beliefs, and stored experiences live.
At Hope Storm, hypnotherapy is trauma-informed, client-centered, and always conducted at your pace. You are always in control. Nothing happens without your awareness and consent. Many clients are surprised by how calm, safe, and empowering the experience feels.
Whether you’re looking to release stored stress, shift limiting beliefs, improve sleep, manage pain, or simply reconnect with yourself, hypnotherapy may offer a powerful path forward.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will I be unconscious or asleep during hypnotherapy? No. Hypnotherapy is not sleep. You will be in a relaxed, focused state of awareness, calm and comfortable, but fully conscious. Most clients describe it as feeling similar to a deep meditation or that peaceful state just before falling asleep.
Can I be made to do things against my will? Absolutely not. You are always in control during a hypnotherapy session. You cannot be made to do, say, or believe anything that goes against your values or wishes. If anything feels uncomfortable you can end the session at any time simply by opening your eyes.
What does hypnotherapy actually feel like? Most clients describe a deep sense of calm and relaxation. Some notice physical sensations like heaviness or tingling. Others experience vivid imagery or emotions. Every experience is unique, and all of it is normal.
How many sessions will I need? That depends entirely on you, your goals, and what you’re working on. Some clients notice shifts after a single session. Others prefer ongoing work. We discuss this together during your free consultation.
Is hypnotherapy safe? Yes. Hypnotherapy is a safe, evidence-based practice with very rare occurrences of side effects. Side effects may include dizziness, drowsiness, or trouble sleeping. At Hope Storm all hypnotherapy is trauma-informed and client-centered. Your safety and comfort are always the priority.
What is the difference between hypnotherapy and hypno-coaching? Hypnotherapy focuses primarily on subconscious work: accessing and shifting patterns, beliefs, and stored experiences. Hypno-coaching blends hypnotherapy with conscious coaching work, addressing both the subconscious and conscious mind for a more integrated approach.
Can anyone be hypnotized? Most people can experience hypnosis to some degree. Willingness and openness are the biggest factors. Clients who are resistant or skeptical may find it harder to relax into the experience, which is completely okay and worth discussing during your consultation. Ultimately, if you believe you can, then you probably can. And vice versa.
What if I can’t be hypnotized? If hypnotherapy doesn’t feel like the right fit, Hope Storm offers a range of other modalities — coaching, hypno-coaching, and more — that may be a better match for you.

What to Expect
If you’ve never experienced hypnotherapy before, it’s completely natural to feel curious or uncertain. Here’s what a typical session with Dr. Anna looks like:
Before Your First Session We begin with a conversation. Before any hypnotherapy takes place, we talk about what brings you in, what you hope to experience, and any questions or concerns you have. Your comfort and informed consent are always the starting point.
Getting Comfortable All sessions are virtual, so you’ll be in your own space, somewhere comfortable and familiar to you. You might be reclined in a favorite chair, lying on your couch, or wherever feels most relaxing. You can adjust your space for your optimal relaxation. This could be anything that works for you, but might include soft music, a weighted blanket, essential oils, or headphones.
The Induction Dr. Anna will gently guide you into a relaxed, focused state using a calming voice, breathing cues, and imagery. This is not sleep, you will be aware and present throughout. Most clients describe this stage as deeply peaceful and comfortable.
The Session Once you are in a relaxed state, Dr. Anna will guide the session based on your goals and what you’re working on. This might involve visualization, exploration of thoughts and feelings, releasing stored tension, or reinforcing new patterns and beliefs. You are always in control and can speak, ask questions, or end the session at any time.
The Awakening At the end of the session Dr. Anna will gently guide you back to full waking awareness. Most clients feel calm, relaxed, and sometimes a little sleepy afterward. Give yourself a few minutes before driving or doing anything that requires full focus.
After Your Session It’s common to notice shifts in the hours and days following a session. This may include changes in mood, perspective, sleep, or how you respond to situations. Keeping a journal can be a helpful way to track your experience over time.
Pricing and Packages
